Gambling Food Recipes: Ham-Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes

Gambling is a fun activity. It has been a part of human activity sine time immemorial, and people have indulged in a lot of different kinds of gambling games, not only so that they can gain profit and pass the time, but also as a way to get closer to other people. Gambling is an activity that involves wagering something of value on a prediction of the outcome of an event. Unless a person has access to online casinos and other forms of internet gambling, or is using a gambling machine, like the slot machines -or one-armed bandits- that many see in casinos nowadays, almost all gambling activities will involve more than one person.

In the past, when the internet was unavailable and gambling machines were scarce, many people got their gambling fixes by coming together as friends, and playing different kinds of gambling games together. The most common sort of gambling games that people can play together are the ones that involve a lot of strategy and tactics, like poker and other poker variants, like Texas Hold'em, as well as such popular Asian games as Mahjongg. Nowadays, if a casino is not nearby, and people want to gamble in order to bond with one another, gambling get-togethers, like poker parties are organized by friends, co-workers, and other people who might know each other.

If you've ever had to host a poker party, or even a TV night where you and your poker buddies sit together and watch the championship games on the World Series of Poker, you'll know that a good gambling get-together would not be complete without food. One important thing to remember if you plan on eating and gambling at the same time, is that it's a lot harder to play if both of your hands are occupied. This is why most recommended kinds of gambling foods are finger foods. If you're sick of serving chips and dips and want to try and jazz up your poker night, here's one delicious and exciting recipe to try out:

Ham-Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes

1 pt. cherry tomatoes 2 cans of deviled ham 3 tablespoons of sour cream 2 tablespoons of horseradish A few sprigs of fresh parsley

Thinly slice the tops off of the cherry tomatoes. Remove the tomatoes' pulp and drain the shells so that the juice drips out. In another bowl, mix together the deviled ham, horseradish, and the sour cream. If you want, you can add some salt and pepper for added flavor. Stuff the mixture into the emptied tomato shells, and refrigerate them for a few hours. For a festive touch, garnish the tomatoes with some parsley. This delicious snack is fun to eat, and it's great for other kinds of parties too!
